Le Petit Prince of Doodles

Today he has won awards and worked with companies such as Dell, but for him, it all started with doodles. Lim Heng Swee, a.k.a. ilovedoodle, is a Malaysian visual artist and illustrator who is letting his works tell his tale – even on his own web-site there are only three sentences in the “About” section. Last one says: “(…) I hope I’ll be able to doodle a smile on everyone’s face.” Looking at his illustrations, we can say that’s exactly what he does. Lim Heng Swee is positively living on the sunny side of the street, and we’d guess that’s where his studio is too. Warm colors, quirky characters and a powerful, underlying optimism of his illustrations put a tune in everyone’s minds: “Always look on the bright side of life…”.
